Children’s music superstars and NOGGIN/Nick Jr. channel favorites Laurie Berkner, Susie Lampert (keyboards), Adam Bernstein (bass) and introducing Bob Golden (drums/ percussion) will perform a “Pajama Party” concert. Kids are encouraged to come in their pajamas and bring their favorite stuffed animals (those in the know will put them on their heads for the band’s in-concert favorite “Pig on Her Head”)! The Laurie Berkner Band will play old and new hits, including songs from 2008’s critically acclaimed CD, ‘Rocketship Run.’

Widely recognized as the most popular indie children’s recording artist in the United States, Laurie Berkner was at the forefront of the current progressive children’s music movement. Her intelligent songwriting, captivating vocals and infectious melodies have won not only legions of little fans, but also parents, who enjoy the music as much as their kids.

Children one year old or younger can be admitted free and sit on an adult’s lap - one lap child per adult.

Families are also encouraged to bring a pair of new children’s pajamas and/or new children’s book to donate to The Pajama Program (www.pajamaprogram.org) which provides new pajamas for children entering foster care.
