Back by popular demand, DanceAfrica embodies tradition, as well as a spirit of change and growth. Reaching back into the past and forward into the future, the program embraces the links between cultures across the African Diaspora, always bearing the message, “Peace, love, and respect for everybody.” Dr. Charles “Chuck” Davis, founder and Artistic Director of the African-American Dance Ensemble, will perform with local dancers to rhythms deeply rooted in the traditions of Africa.
