CAPA Board of Trustees Names Stephanie Green Board Chair, Appoints Three New Trustees

As the Columbus Association for the Performing Arts (CAPA) embarks on the 2021-22 season, it has appointed three new Columbus community leaders to its board of trustees and named Stephanie Green as chair. Green has served on the CAPA board since 2009, and steps into the role following Immediate Past Chair Richard Helmreich. Helmreich has served on the board for 32 years, seven as chair.

Senior Vice President, Managing Director, Wealth & Management, Fifth Third Bank

Columbus native Stephanie Green leads a team of highly specialized investment professionals that focuses on a customized customer experience through the delivery of planning, investment management, banking, and advisory services. She has held multiple leadership roles since joining Fifth Third in 1989, developing the region’s first small business lending division and assisting in the founding of the Women of Wealth leadership development program. Green currently serves as a member of several boards and commissions including the African American Leadership Academy, Columbus State Community College, Columbus Urban League, and Ohio Fair Plan Underwriting Association Board of Governors. She is also a Tocqueville Ambassador for United Way of Central Ohio.

New trustees include:
Lynnda Davis, Owner/Non-Profit Consultant, SDL Strategic Consultants
Strategic marketing professional, entrepreneur, and experienced non-profit board leader Lynnda Davis began her corporate career with AT&T as a financial services account executive. After earning her MBA from Northwestern University, she worked for Kraft General Foods and the Quaker Oats Company as a brand marketing executive. Today, Davis and husband Steve own SDL Strategic Consultants, where she specializes in non-profit consulting. She was appointed to the Columbus Cultural Arts Commission and the Ohio Higher Education Facility Commission. She serves on the board of the McCoy Center for the Arts and is chapter president of the Twin Rivers (OH) Chapter of The Links, a national African American women’s service organization that works to transform lives in underserved communities.

Karen Hough Majidzadeh, Founder/CEO, ImprovEdge
Entrepreneur, innovator, and business leader Karen Hough Majidzadeh is the founder and CEO of ImprovEdge, an Amazon #1 bestselling author of three books, contributor to Mashable, and Yale graduate. Her award-winning company, ImprovEdge, provides business training with an improv twist, combining improvisation with research in neuroscience and psychology to develop flexible, positive, inclusive leaders and teams. She has performed with the Chicago-based, world-renowned comedy club and improv school, Second City, and enjoyed an illustrious career in film, TV, and theatre in New York City. Her board work includes KeyBank’s Key4Women, Women for Economic and Leadership Development (WELD), Whim ‘n Rhythm Alumnae Association, and she is a mentor with the Otterbein Women’s Network Initiative.

Michael Stickney, Owner, North Steppe Realty
Upon graduation from Vanderbilt University in 1986, Michael Stickney established North Steppe Realty, focusing on the investment and management of residential properties in the University District, Victorian Village, Short North, Italian Village and German Village. Today, the company owns and manages more than 400 properties.He serves on the boards of St. Charles Preparatory School, The Buckeye Leadership Fellows Program, The Columbus Foundation, The Better Business Bureau, LifeTown, Boundless, and St. Mary German Village Church and Grade School.
