Dave Koz and a host of superstars will celebrate the holidays with a one-night-only live, virtual concert event on Saturday, December 12, via Looped. Koz will perform alongside special guests Jonathan Butler, Rick Braun, Richard Elliot, David Benoit, Peter White, and vocalist Rebecca Jade. Due to the ongoing health risks of COVID-19, Koz was unable to mount his 23rd annual Dave Koz & Friends Christmas Tour, so he made plans to livestream the festivities direct into fans’ homes.
“If there was ever a year we ’need a little Christmas,’ it’s 2020…so I am extremely pleased my dear friends and I could come together to bring some light and love to people around the globe this holiday season,” said Dave Koz. “It won’t be quite be the same as being in the wonderful venues and cities that have welcomed us every December for 23 years now, but at least we can all be together virtually. I, for one, can’t wait!"
CAPA presents Dave Koz & Friends The Greatest Hits of Christmas 2020 on Saturday, December 12, at 8 pm. Virtual tickets to this online concert are $35 and can be purchased at www.capa.com or by phone at (614) 469-0939. Tickets are on sale now. One ticket per household.
VIP experiences, including exclusive one-on-one meet and greets, are also available. A portion of the proceeds will go to the Starlight Children’s Foundation, an organization dedicated to delivering happiness to seriously ill children and their families.
Fondly referred to as “Santa Koz” by fans and reviewers, Dave has released seven Christmas albums over the course of his career, including last year’s Gifts of the Season. Downloads of Gifts of the Season and his new album, A New Day, are included in the ticket price.
Released exactly 30 years and one day after his self-titled debut album, A New Day is Koz’s 20th album overall and first full set of original material in 10 years (since Hello Tomorrow in 2010). The album has reached the No. 1 position on numerous jazz charts, including iTunes and Amazon.
