Important update for Saturday, July 12 Hamilton Matinee Ticket Holders
We have just been informed that the Statehouse helicopter lift operation is taking longer than expected. This may impact parking and your usual route to the theater as they work to complete the project. Please arrive early and give yourself plenty of time to find parking and arrive at the theater. Latecomers may have to wait to be seated.
Saturday, July 12
- Road Closures: State Street from High Street to Fourth Street (westbound), State Street from Third Street to Fourth Street (eastbound) and Third Street from Broad Street to State Street (southbound) are closed. State Street (eastbound), which you will need to access from High Street, will remain accessible for drop-offs and pickups.
- Parking: The Statehouse Parking Garage will be open but only accessible from the Broad Street entrance (this entrance is accessible eastbound on Broad Street). The State Street and Third Street entrances will be closed. The Southwest Corner (High and State) will be the only pedestrian access point from the Statehouse Parking Garage to the Ohio Theatre. Pedestrian walkways from Statehouse West and South Plazas to Ohio Theatre entrance will be closed.
- You may wish to park in the Columbus Commons Main Garage (55 E. Rich Street or 56 E. Main Street), Columbus Commons Underground Garage (191 S. Third Street) or explore other alternative parking solutions. Your normal route to these garages may be impacted by the road closures mentioned above.
- Since the Statehouse helicopter lift operation is currently in progress some closures may be lifted on a rolling basis.
