A stellar cast brings one of Broadway’s greatest musicals to the screen. Sinatra is Nathan Detroit, a gambler trying to raise $1,000 for the “oldest established permanent floating crap game in New York.” He bets his old buddy Sky Masterson (Brando) that he can’t take local Save-a-Soul leader Sarah Brown (Simmons) to dinner in Cuba, but somewhere along the way, they actually fall in love. Several catchy tunes and wacky misunderstandings later, Sky and Sarah, along with Nathan and long-suffering sweetheart Miss Adelaide, find their happy ending.
