Description
Back and better than ever! Symphony Pride is the community you deserve. With two amazing masterworks shows, receptions, and other great deals, Symphony Pride is where you belong.
We are launching our 25/26 Symphony Pride season with Scheherezade that programmatically tells stories from The Arabian Nights, featuring a brutal Sultan’s descending bass motif and the enchanting, winding solo violin melody of the storyteller, Scheherazade, played by Concertmaster, Joanna Frankel. This concert also features the Columbus Symphony Women’s Chorus in Debussy’s Nocturnes and Saariaho’s Vers toi es si loin.
Our second concert of the season will be Shostakovich 8 which will include Viet Cuong’s: Renewal featuring Sandbox Percussion who have been described as “exhilarating” by The New York Times and “utterly mesmerizing” by The Guardian. The GRAMMY®-nominated ensemble Sandbox Percussion champions living composers through its unwavering dedication to contemporary chamber music.
After both concerts, there will be a Symphony Pride exclusive reception with refreshments in the Patron Lounge.
Additionally, this pride season, we are excited to offer 20% off all other masterworks concerts and other special offers when you purchase a membership.
