Jake and Elwood Blues are on a mission from God to save the orphanage where they were raised by reuniting their band and raising enough money to cover the tax bill. They get their band, amid a litany of great performances from Ray Charles, Cab Calloway, and Aretha Franklin, but not without leaving a path of chaos. But when you’ve got 106 miles to go, with a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, and sunglasses at night, you just have to hit it!
