More than 700 volunteers help CAPA fulfill its mission each year, and there are plenty of opportunities for you to become part of the excitement!
Our volunteers play a very important role in our theatres and in our community. Help us ensure that CAPA patrons have a great experience each and every time they visit one of our theatres.
COVID-19 Health and Safety Notice: CAPA is requiring public-facing volunteers to be vaccinated against COVID-19. While vaccinated people can still get infected with and spread COVID as long as there is community transmission of the virus, the CDC has reported that fully vaccinated individuals are less likely than unvaccinated individuals to acquire, transmit, become seriously ill or die. Being vaccinated combined with other behaviors, such as mask-wearing, social distancing, and staying home when sick, is the key to CAPA going into the fall season fully operational. Also, an increasing number of theatre users require CAPA staff and volunteers to be vaccinated to work their shows. All new or returning volunteers onboarded on or after November 1, 2021 must be fully vaccinated before they start work.
