Community Conversations: From a Place Called Home We Flourish
Wednesday, October 22, 2025 | 6 PM
Description
“From a Place Called Home We Flourish” will guide our community conversation at the Lincoln Theatre, centering on the legacy of Poindexter Village and the historic Near East Side. Together, we will reflect on how this neighborhood has nurtured generations through family, faith, art, business, and resilience, even in the face of disinvestment and displacement. The discussion will highlight the role of the Poindexter Village Museum in preserving these untold stories, celebrating the cultural richness of the community, and inspiring future generations to flourish from the roots of home.
