Fall Family Music Fest with Tim Kubart and the Space Cadets

Tim Kubart’s Really Real You show is a full-band musical experience crafted for families, featuring sing-along songs, tap dancing, pop music, and heartfelt storytelling. Through a joyful, interactive journey, Tim encourages young audiences to embrace their true selves and develop essential coping skills, all wrapped up in a family dance party.

Tim first discovered his love for making music for families while volunteering in NYC, and now, over the course of a 20 year career, he has traveled far and wide singing songs that move your feet and open your heart. Called “Kindie’s breakout star” by New York Family and “the best of the best” by Parents’ Choice, Tim won the GRAMMY Award for Best Children’s Album in 2016 for his album HOME, and was nominated again for his follow-up, BUILDING BLOCKS. His music is a favorite on SiriusXM Kids Place, and has taken him everywhere from family stages at Lollapalooza and Austin City Limits to packed shows at the Kennedy Center and Lincoln Center. He’s even traveled the world as a guest of the U.S. Embassy, performing and teaching kids on (almost) every continent.

Tim is also EMMY-nominated for sharing thousands of mornings with preschoolers as the host of Sprout’s Sunny Side Up, a beloved live daily show where he welcomed guests like Michelle Obama, Julie Andrews, and Astronaut Chris Hadfield alongside his feathered co-host, Chica the Chicken.

He is perhaps best known to audiences around the world as the enthusiastic “Tambourine Guy” from the viral sensation and world touring band Postmodern Jukebox.

In addition to performing, Tim has written songs for Sesame Street (including Elmo’s duet with Ellie Goulding), published picture books, created a show for The Wiggles, and hosted the Highlights! Magazine podcast. And yes, he once opened for Kool & the Gang.

Tim’s live show, both silly and sincere, is known for sparking joy while treating kids’ emotional lives with real respect. Whether leading a sing-along in a backyard or lighting up an amphitheater, Tim and his band of Space Cadets bring their full hearts to every performance. With humor, honesty, and high-energy musicianship, “Really Real You” is a celebration of feelings, family, and the freedom to be yourself.

Adult tickets are $20 each and children are free with an adult ticket purchase.
