The iconic saga of Anakin Skywalker (Hayden Christensen) continues in the second Star Wars episode, Attack of the Clones. Ten years after Anakin leaves his home planet Tatooine to train as a Jedi, he and his mentor Obi Wan Kenobi (Ewan McGregor) are reunited with Padme Amidala (Natalie Portman), now a senator for Naboo. After an assassination attempt on Padme, Kenobi leaves to track down who is behind the plot while Anakin stays behind to protect her. Their friendship grows into a forbidden romance, and when they return to Tatooine to attempt to save Anakin’s mother, tragedy brings them even closer, sealing their bond. Meanwhile, Kenobi has discovered a secret clone army and the headquarters of the separatist movement behind the attack on Amidala. When he is captured, Anakin and the other Jedi mount a rescue mission that may trigger a war.
