Description

ROBERT REDFORD TRIBUTE!

Considered one of the most faithful adaptations of F. Scott Fitzgerald’s classic American novel, The Great Gatsby tells the tale of lost love and the dangers of trying to recapture those moments, the chaos of 1920’s New York elites, and loneliness, even in a crowd. Jay Gatsby (Robert Redford) never got over his great love Daisy (Mia Farrow), even after she married Tom Buchanan (Bruce Dern) for money instead of love. Gatsby finds his own fortune and after befriending his neighbor Nick Carraway (Sam Waterston), he turns his attention to winning back Daisy, with Nick’s help. Surrounded by betrayal and the fickle hypocrisy of the rich, the romantic entanglements of the group set them on a path to disaster that even the Great Gatsby himself can’t prevent.

Cast: Robert Redford, Mia Farrow, Bruce Dern
