Description

Leslie Nielsen’s genius for slapstick comedy is on full display as Lt. Frank Drebin of the Police Squad! tasked with protecting the visiting Queen Elizabeth from an assassination attempt by criminal mastermind Vincent Ludwig (Ricardo Montalban). Ludwig plans to use mind control to turn an LA baseball player into his assassin when the Queen attends a game. Drebin is also trying to clear his partner’s name after a drug bust gone bad leaves him in the hospital. His investigation ties Ludwig to that same drug bust, giving him even more motivation to bring him to justice. Unfortunately, after one blunder too many, Drebin is off the force and is forced to go rogue to save the queen, his career, his partner, and his new love Jane Spencer (Priscilla Presley), who just happens to be Ludwig’s assistant.
