The Shawshank Redemption (1994)

Based on a Stephen King novella, Shawshank chronicles the prison life of Andy Dufresne, a man convicted of killing his wife, despite his claims of innocence. He eventually works his way into the warden’s favor, all the while plotting his escape in a long game of cat and mouse. He and his confidante Red have a plan to meet in Mexico when they are both free. After Red’s parole is granted, he makes his way to the Pacific in hopes of seeing his good friend once more. 35 mm
