Description

Get ready for an electrifying evening on the Lincoln Theatre rooftop as Large Mouth Brass Band brings their high‑energy, genre‑defying sound to Wine Down Wednesday. This 8‑piece Columbus‑based ensemble blends the spirited tradition of New Orleans Second Line jazz with funk, hip‑hop, pop hits, and their own original “Brass Funk”, creating a vibrant, feel‑good atmosphere that gets every audience moving. Born in Athens, Ohio and now rooted in Columbus, the band is known for delivering dynamic performances at festivals and venues across the region, earning a reputation for keeping the party going from the first note to the last. Their members—who also teach throughout central Ohio schools and universities—bring both deep musicianship and infectious joy to the stage, inspiring the next generation while honoring the brass band tradition. Join us for an outdoor evening filled with bold horns, irresistible rhythms, and pure musical energy. With drinks flowing, summer breezes drifting, and the unstoppable groove of Large Mouth Brass Band, this Wine Down Wednesday promises to be one of the most spirited nights of the season.

In the event of inclement weather, performances will be moved indoors to the Lincoln lobby.
