Impact Report
As part of our mission, CAPA has been hard at work supporting the communities we serve. Learn more about the work we do by checking out our impact reports.
When most people think about CAPA, they think of our theatres—beautiful, historic venues that are home to countless memories and performances. We are deeply proud of our role as the steward of these incredible spaces, and our work with so many amazing artists, arts organizations, and audiences.
Our venues are central to CAPA’s vision of Columbus as a renowned artistic hub for living, breathing art. But our vision is larger than our theatres; we are committed to making sure that everyone in Columbus has opportunities to engage with unforgettable arts experiences. To do that, we have to meet community members where they are, working with a wide variety of partners to bring the arts to everyone in Columbus, both inside and outside of our venues.
CAPA’s 2024–25 season was full of examples of this work, including the co-production between BalletMet, CAPA, the Columbus Symphony, and Opera Columbus that created the magnificent West Side Story in the Ohio Theatre; our presentation of the immersive CLUE: A Walking Mystery in collaboration with the Short North Arts District; and the dozens of community partners who make Festival Latino one of Columbus’s best summer events.
That is just a small sample of the community partnerships that helped CAPA to fill Columbus with great art in 2024–25. Throughout this report, you will see many more examples of the collaborations that are enriching the lives of central Ohioans of all ages, and from all walks of life. 2024–25 was a great year for CAPA, full of outstanding performances and events. We are continuing to build new and stronger partnerships throughout the community, so that everyone in Columbus can engage with living, breathing art.
On behalf of everyone at CAPA, thank you for your support, which is at the center of all that we do.
