Note: CCT’s Professional Series production of Cabaret asks us to look honestly at how communities ignore warning signs, how prejudice takes root, and how silence in the face of extremism can shape history. Some moments deal directly with these realities, including violence, the rise of authoritarian power, and outward displays of hate for marginalized groups.
 
Though a historical piece, the themes presented in this show are as important as ever. We’re naming this not to alarm you, but to give space for dialogue and reflection, especially for families attending together. Our goal is to invite conversation, not avoidance, and to support audiences as they engage with a story that resonates in meaningful ways today.

About Columbus Children's Theatre

Columbus Children’s Theatre educates and involves young people of all backgrounds in the theatre arts. Through their programs, they foster self-esteem and self-discovery by emphasizing discipline, integrity, team-building, and communication skills in a positive and creative environment. They promote access to theatre arts for families who do not have regular opportunities to appreciate theatre in their lives because of either economic, cultural, or other barriers.
