What’s Happening at CAPA this March?

1) One Woman Sex and the City: A Parody of Love, Friendships, and Shoes – Friday, March 3, 8 pm @ Lincoln Theatre
Do you love “Sex and the City?” This loving tribute performed by just a single actress will take you through all six seasons of the show’s banter, brunches, love, and laughter.

2) Elvis Lives – Wednesday, March 8, 7:30 pm @ Palace Theatre
Featuring winners from Elvis Presley Enterprises’ worldwide Ultimate Elvis Tribute Artist Contest and narration from the King himself through footage direct from the Graceland Archives, this unforgettable, multi-media and live musical journey across Elvis’ life is the perfect show for any Elvis fan!

3) STOMP – March 10-12 @ Palace Theatre
Get ready to STOMP your feet for this international percussion sensation! STOMP has taken percussion to an all new level by taking everyday objects and turning them into instruments. You’ve never heard paint cans sound so good!

4) Odd Squad Live! – Saturday, March 11, 2 pm @ Ohio Theatre
PBS’ “Odd Squad” is bringing their live show to the Ohio Theatre. Team up with the Odd Squad agents in this interactive adventure that will give kids the opportunity to crack codes, decipher clues, laugh, and sing!

5) The Intergalactic Nemesis: Target Earth A Live-Action Graphic Novel – Sunday, March 12, 7 pm @ Southern Theatre
The Intergalactic Nemesis: Target Earth combines more than 1,250 full-color, high-resolution comic book panels with three voice actors, a Foley sound effects artist, and a pianist to create a radio-play format that bring this live-action graphic novel to life.

6) Taj Express: The Bollywood Musical Revue – Tuesday, March 14, 8 pm @ Palace Theatre
The sights and sounds of India come alive in Taj Express! This production is a high energy celebration of new India’s pop music, Bollywood culture, and deep traditions featuring colorful costumes, joyful dance, and thrilling live music.

7) Kathy Griffin – Thursday, March 23, 8 pm @ Ohio Theatre
In case you’ve been living under a rock, Kathy Griffin is a two-time Emmy and Grammy award-winning comedian, who also holds a Guinness Book of World Records title for writing and starring in 20 televised stand-up specials. Don’t miss her pull-no-punches brand of comedy!

8) Paula Poundstone – Friday, March 24, 8 pm @ Southern Theatre
Emmy Award-winning Paula Poundstone’s quick thinking and unscripted approach to comedy has earned her a regular spot on NPR’s #1 show, “Wait, Wait…Don’t Tell Me!” Come and laugh with her, March 24 at the Southern Theatre.

9) Harry Potter in Concert featuring the Columbus Symphony – March 25 & 26 @ Ohio Theatre

10) Sesame Street Live: Make a New Friend – March 25 & 26 @ Palace Theatre
