Fright Nite Friday with Fritz
While Fritz the Nite Owl wasn’t on-site, audiences still took a nostalgic trip back to the days of Nite Owl Theatre with a special Fright Nite Friday screening of Alien (1979) on Friday, August 8. Fans enjoyed a full episode of Nite Owl Theatre, featuring Fritz’s signature breaks packed with trivia-tastic tomfoolery and delightfully campy special effects.
Show Tunes and “Mighty Morton”
Now in his 34th year with the CAPA Summer Movie Series, Clark Wilson once again filled the Ohio Theatre with the rich sounds of the “Mighty Morton” theatre organ, delighting audiences with pre-show performances 30 minutes before each screening.
With the series concluded, the “Mighty Morton” now begins an exciting new chapter—the restoration of its original console, a vital piece of this historic instrument.Click here to follow its journey!
